Dear Elloree,
Your first month of life was kind of a blur as we were adjusting to life with two kids. But let me
tell you, you made it SO easy for us. You were the best little baby from the moment we brought you home. You were such a good sleeper and eater, and so easy going. I thanked God everyday that it was an easy transition (as I was preparing for the worst with McKinley's colic experience). For the first two weeks of your life, your Mimi stayed up here to help us adjust. You loved being held by her and having her here was such a nice treat! Your sister adjusted to you so well, she loved helping find a diaper, blanket or paci. It was hard at first to figure out where you liked to sleep, but you soon became a fan of lying on your back (OMG what?! I had no idea how to react considering Mck didn't sleep on her back for 8 months -- she needed incline for her colic) so you loved the Dock A Tot bed and once we found a swaddle you liked, you were good to go! I have breastfed you since you were born and things have gone great so far. I recovered well from the scheduled c section and we had a great first month with you in our lives! Oh! And I still can't get over your hair :)
