Dear McKinley,
Happy Happy Birthday my little angel! I can't believe you are ONE! You learn more and more everyday and have stolen our hearts forever. Your smile is the most precious thing we have ever seen, and your wave comes close to second. You still love to eat, wave, and laugh at Sanford. You love going to daycare and seeing your little friends. You can wave, say "Ut-oh" and shoe (when you see a shoe or sock). This month we had your Grandpa Finnegan, Melanie, and Patrick visit for your birthday. We then went to Savannah for Christmas and spent time with other Finnegan's. You haven't started to walk yet, but I am not totally encouraging it too much either ;) I know you will do it when you are ready (which will be really soon..) Below are pictures from early December to early January..

When you turned one we had a mini photo shoot!
While we were in GA we got pictures done by your talented Aunt Katelyn. You will soon learn that you have some awesome aunts- one that takes amazing pictures and one that is an awesome mom to your fun little cousins. They are the best sisters I could ever imagine and I can't wait for you to understand their talents. I will share some of your one year photos below.
I am so glad I was able to blog each month about your growth. You are perfect in every way and I love you to the moon and back. I wish I could keep you in a bubble, away from this crazy world, as you grow into a tiny human being. I am constantly thinking about how I want to protect you from the world, from heartbreak, from mean people. from germs, from it all. Just know if I could, I would, and I wish you nothing but happiness on everyday in your life. I love you, my sweet one year old.
Love you forvever,
Mommy
