Month 8 and 9

Dear Ella Kate,
Month 8 was so fun! We made the trip to GA for St. Patrick’s Day and to see all the Finnegans. You did great of course! You slept most of the parade and did wonderful in the car ride there. You started sleeping out of your dock a tot since you outgrew it, and you don’t sleep as well or if it. You still love your sister and think she is hilarious. You love splashing in the bath and eating a good piece of fruit. Mrs. kelly loves watching you and you love watching the other girls at daycare! You enjoy being outside and saying mama. We love you!

Month 7

Dear Ella Kate-
Month 7 was cold, not much snow but some ice days let us stay home from work and cuddle! You are still the sweetest thing in the world. You love your sister. Sleeping. Food, and you are still SO easy going. Really we can bring you anywhere and you are perfect. We can’t get enough of your smile (that has teeth now!) you enjoy sitting up and grabbing for toys and trying to make sounds. We love you sweet girl!

Month 6

Dear Ella Kate,
Month 6 was a fun one for us! It was your first Christmas so we got to soak up so much sweetness around the holidays! We stayed in Virginia for Christmas and your Mimi came up for a week. We got to cheer on the Dawgs in the national championship (they lost and it was the saddest day ever). We celebrated the new year of 2018 and we spent a lot of time indoors with the chilly weather! You still loved to sleep in your dock a tot, and still breastfed some. You loved solid foods and you began to sit up by yourself. I love watching you grow!

Ella Kate- Month 6

Dear Elloree,

Your sixth month was a fast one (as they all are at this point, slow down!!) but it was a fun month too! You started eating solids, you really loved strawberries. You enjoy solids (we did baby led weaning) but you also enjoyed the purées we gave you sometimes, too! My milk production for pumping decreased so we had to start using formula for half your feedings. You love any kind of milk! Your two bottom teeth starting coming in and the weather was super cold! We didn’t have much snow, but we were lucky enough to have some “ice days”. You still adore your sister and think she’s the funniest thing on the planet. We can’t get enough of you, sweet girl!
